Who's Eligible? 

"On July 1, 2006, and thereafter, Lexington Community College students may elect to participate in student services and activities provided by the University of Kentucky and shall pay the appropriate fees for these services and activities to include the following fees: student government association, WRFL student radio, student activities, student center, student health plan, technology fee, Seaton Center fee, and student affairs. Lexington Community College* students shall continue to be provided access to University of Kentucky residence halls."

All Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) students enrolled in 6 or more hours of eligible courses (not online) with a home campus of Cooper Drive or Winchester will be eligible to purchase services. Online courses do not count toward eligibility to purchase services. 

To verify your schedule of classes for number of credit hours enrolled and campus location, please access your PeopleSoft account online

In order to login to the UK eStore, you will need your KCTCS email address (email address must be in lowercase and include @kctcs.edu) and PeopleSoft® ID number (example: 001234567). If you cannot login, please check your eligibility on the PeopleSoft® web site.

Available Student Services

A valid student ID must be presented at the time of service.  

To purchase services, please call the CatCash Office at 859-257-6159 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office is closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. and on all official university holidays. Visa® and MasterCard® are accepted. Your PeopleSoft ID Number must be presented at time of purchase. 

If you live in UK Undergraduate Housing during the fall or spring term, your UK Student Fees are automatically billed by UK Housing. You do not need to purchase any of the available services through the UK eStore. 

All student services fees are per semester, non-refundable and not pro-rated. 

A $25 convenience fee applies on each completed sale. 

  

 

Recreation Fee

The recreation fee allows BCTC students to have access to UK Campus Recreation facilities and programs (except club sports). This includes the Johnson Student Recreation Center, Alumni Gym Fitness Center, Lancaster Aquatic Center, UK Intramural Sports, and other campus recreation programs. Students must present a current student ID. Please visit www.uky.edu/recwell.

SAB Fee

Student Activities Board (SAB) is charged with providing campus programming, including cultural, social, recreational and major entertainment programs. Led by students, SAB is responsible for meeting the diverse interests of the student population throughout the academic year by providing a full calendar of events. Students paying the SAB student activities fee receive a student discount to events produced and promoted by SAB, e.g. concerts, lectures, performing arts, comedians, visual arts, etc., which are sold through the Blue Box Office in the Gatton Student Center or other designated venues. SGA Fee

Student Government Association (SGA) funds a variety of campus-wide services in part or entirely. Some examples include: free legal consultation, WildCab late-night transportation service, Child Care Grants, Wildcat Wardrobe, and other ongoing initiatives. Finally, SGA supports student organization programming and events through funding assistance through the Student Senate.  BCTC students paying the SGA student activities fee will receive access to these services and others as they become available. Student Health Fee

BCTC students who pay the Student Health Fee are entitled to receive the covered services described on the University Health Service website- https://ukhealthcare.uky.edu/university-health-service.  University Health Service provides primary care, gynecology, behavioral health services, health promotion and prevention services. Covered benefits for 2023-2024 include: unlimited office visits with the medical staff for illness or injury, gynecology services, behavioral health services, access to the Triage Nurse, on-call physician service, tuberculin skin testing, well-patient physical examinations, allergy injections, and other selected services.

Student Involvement Fee

The Office of Student Organizations and Activities offers students a central hub of information, resources, and opportunities to get involved at UK.  Through exploring and connecting with experiences offered at the university, students can make a real-world impact. The Student Involvement Fee supports programs such as Alternative Spring Breaks in the Center for Community Outreach, DanceBlue, leadership education programs, the Center for Student Involvement in the Gatton Student Center, BBNvolved, the Involvement Advising program, a resources for over 500+ student organizations on campus.  BCTC students paying this fee will be able to access the BBNvolved system to explore involvement opportunities on campus and utilize the Involvement Advisor program to receive personalized assistance on how to get involved on campus.  Please visit http://getinvolved.uky.edu.

Student Services Fee

Student Services Fee supports various special services within Student and Academic Life, such as the Violence Intervention and Prevention Center and Disability Resource Center. This fee is used for various initiatives within the multiple departments that make up Student and Academic Life.

WRFL 88.1FM Fee

The student-run non-commercial radio station serves the university and local community listenership by providing a broad range of music, issues, and news programming. The station also programs a variety of campus and community concerts, performing arts and special interest programming. BCTC students paying the WRFL student activities fee receive a discount for tickets to events produced and promoted by WRFL, which are sold through the Blue Box Office in the Gatton Student Center or other designated venues. Center for Community Outreach Fee

The UK Center for Community Outreach (CCO) is a student-driven organization that is intended to foster the developement of leaders who make a difference in their communities.  Students paying the CCO fee will receive access to volunteer activities within the university and Lexington community, including alternative service breaks, FUSION days of service, and Service Corps.  Please visit https://getinvolved.uky.edu/service-and-community-engagement.

Student Center Fee

The Gatton Student Center will allow students the opportunity to enjoy a variety of daily programming.  As the premier recreational space for activities on campus, the Cats Den provides FREE entertainment to students throughout the week, such as Trivia Nights, Open Mic Nights, and more. In addition to the regularly scheduled events, the Cats Den hosts concerts, craft nights, improv classes, food tastings, recreational tournaments, and much more.  Student Center Cinema offers a free and diverse cinematic experience to the campus community in the most technically impressive theater in the region. Students can expect to find massive blockbusters, critically acclaimed films, nostalgic cult classics, and even sneak peeks of unreleased movies. Please visit https://gsc.uky.edu/
